Turnitin Directions

Turitin.com is a plagiarism prevention website that Clark Magnet uses. While you will turn in your work in paper form, you will also turn them in electronically on this website.

Your work must be submitted to Turnitin.com.

Go to http://www.turnitin.com

Click on “New User” (located in top right portion of screen).

Directions can be found on the next page. If you used turnitin.com last year, you can use your original e-mail and password. Select this option to log on and then use our class id (2889902) and enrollment password (human).

If you are new to turnitin, then use the directions where it says “new students start here.” Our class id is 2889902 and the password is human.

Once you are logged on, find the appropriate assignment folder and submit your work when it is in final form.

Click on icon beneath “submit.” Follow directions to upload your writing. Type your first name and last name. Give your writing at title. You may only upload your paper once, so only do so when it is in final form. You may view your originality report under the section labeled “your portfolio” (if so allowed by your teacher).
